5k ... Mother's Day ... and Grilling with the Hubby - Summer's Here!

I did it!  I ran a 5k...the entire thing!  It has been my goal since January when I started exercising.  It was sooo much fun and a lot easier than I thought!  My cute friend Brooke was so nice and ran it with me.  We kept a good pace and had a lot of fun!  Our time was 32:35 - pretty good for a first time!  Some of my family and some people from work were there too.  I wish Dave could have been there but he had to work.  That's okay...he probably would have beat me anyways!  But it was super fun and definitely worth it!

Mother's Day
We took my mom to Zupa's for some fabulous dinner and chocolate fondue.  It
 was a good time :)  I gave my mom a Kindle that I won at a work training.  Favorite
Daughter?? I think so! 

Grilling

Dave got a mini barbecue grill for Easter and we wanted to try it out...

he cooked up some pretty mean chicken and pork chops!!

I made Salmon for the first time!! It turned out okay... I'll need some practice :)
I had to cook it inside though because Dave HATES the smell of fish!  haha.


Summer fun is the greatest - now if only the sun would stay out so we could
enjoy more fun activities!!
